About Us

Friends of Park Lake is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit corporation established in 2009. Our purpose is to improve the quality of life for all residents of the area of Park Lake, preserve the environment and natural ecology in and around Park Lake, educate the community about environmental protection, and sponsor events serving the residents of the area, while raising the funds needed to support the organization’s work.

Friends of Park Lake is a member-based organization. In the tradition of similar organizations before it, Park Lake continues to work on projects benefiting the local community. Since 2005 several important and impactful projects have been accomplished in partnership with valued community partners. Some of the notable accomplishments initiated by Friends of Park Lake include the Wiswasser Park all-ability playground, improved Park Lake water level control features, widening and improvement of Park Lake Road near the lake and boat launch, and the start of Summer Solstice festivals the past five years. When we meet

Friends of Park Lake group will meet on the following dates in 2020. Meetings are held every other month, on the second Tuesday at 7:00 pm, held at the Bath Community Center unless otherwise noted below.
