2023 Summer Solstice Festival Hosted by: Friends of Park Lake

Friends of Park Lake cordially invites you to participate in our spectacular Summer Solstice Festival!

We are inviting our community’s favorite organizations to help us promote the Park Lake Non-Motorized Nature Trail Project surrounding Pake Lake.  Join us on this day to celebrate Park Lake!

We have wonderful family friendly events planned with more added daily.

You can purchase booth space (donation) for $25.00. This does not include a tent or table. 

We would love it if you had an easy activity to accompany your booth. Something to engage with our fantastic family community. 

We will have amazing events at Wiswasser Park, the Boat Launch, and Park Lake Beach.

Booths will be at Wiswasser Park. Space is limited and exclusive! RSVP as quickly as possible. 

We think you will be pleased with some of the unusual and special happenings this year.

Friends of Park Lake is also seeking Sponsorships in the form of donations. 

Donations of $100.00 or more will acknowledge your organization at the event!

Wiswasser Park, the boat launch and the Park Lake Beach

FREE LIVE MUSIC BY THE DANGLING PARTICIPLES – BRING A CHAIR AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!

5:00PM – 8:00PM Wiswasser Park and the Boat Launch will be full of fun activities and amazing locally produced products from honey to wool. Engaging activities happening in Wiswasser Park and at the Boat Launch will include:

At the Launch What lies beneath the lake’s water? Lake life eco-system exploration. Help pull the giant net to see what you catch!

At Wiswasser Park – Live Music in-the-park by the Dangling Participles, a balloon Animal-maker, individual and collective art expression, exploring the life of honey bees, food with the Bath Lions Club, cornhole with the Wildlife Pub, an obstacle course, giant Jenga, unusual friends from the animal kingdom, local artisans and unique growers and producers of honey products. Lots to learn, to explore and have fun with.

Friends of Park Lake Bicycle Ride June 10, 2023

Friends of Park Lake is teaming up with The Tri-County Bicycle Association’s Youth Cycling Club on a scenic, family-oriented ride through the Bath Township area!

Perfect for a wide variety of riders, the ride will consist of a 15 mile ride, a 22 mile ride, and a 38 mile ride.

The 15 mile ride takes the riders to the Great Valley Long Necks Farm, where the riders will get a tour of the farm and stop by the Safe Routes to School Bike Rodeo at the Bath Township Library.

The 22 mile ride will go to the Corey Marsh Ecological Research Center.

The 38 mile ride will bike to the Sleepy Hollow State Park.

All 3 routes will take place on paved roads, and have been designed to avoid major roads to ensure the safety of the riders. Bring your families for a morning of fun, while supporting a good cause, and an all around great experience! 

The ride will raise money and awareness for the Park Lake Trail and Nature Preserve project through donations to Friends of Park Lake.

Friends of Park Lake is a 501c3, non-profit organization in the Park Lake/Bath Township area that works to educate, preserve, and improve the Park Lake watershed.
